– First, I would like to thank you, Jonas, for the lovely surprise in the kudos edition! I want to kudos you back for all the great, inspiring work—with humor sparks that you do :D Many great projects in Kudos have been mentioned already! Here, I would like to share some projects driven by various elements of play to tell their story in Graphic Design.

Tell us about one or more Norwegian-produced jobs that you like.

– It's not a new fact that Olssøn Barbieri's work has always inspired us in the Norwegian industry! So, why not highlight one of their projects: Château Picoron. Château Picoron is a project about making wines more fun while honoring the winery region. Olssøn Barbieri redefines its identity and packaging and tells its story to start something new. Using the blackbird as its mascot, Olssøn Barbieri visualize various play aspect that elevates Château Picoron to experience!

– Here is also a really nice project by Footbooks on creating space for publishing Artists and Illustrators into books and zines. Kudos for their playful approach and for making this space for a Norwegian artist and their upcoming editions!

Name one or more inspiring international/foreign work that you would like to have done yourself.

– When it comes to foreign work, there is a lot to choose from! But I will highlight some of the work that explores visuals with different tools and various expressions. As Jonas mentioned about Yehwan Song, I want to share a project with similar spirits and drive that visualizes a digital campaign from Two Much Studio on the Nike International Women's Day 22.

– Another example of using an explorative digital approach, Traum Inc explores different expressions through still and moving images. Here is their latest project with Pentatonic and Esprit on Growing Mushrooms for a possibly better future. Resulted of a movie and installations, Traum Inc tells a story about their research on ways to replace traditional fabrics with fabrics grown from mycelium (mushroom roots).

– Lastly, I am always intrigued with The Rodina and her experimental practice through visual and performance art. Her playful expressions on various platforms showed her personality in her design and her practice. Here are some of her various works from her.

– Before I pass on the baton, here is a good read from Porto Rocha's internal research project, Design Threads. Takk for meg! :)

Who would you like to pass the baton to and why?

– I want to pass the kudos to Camile Sauvé, who is part of the Girl Scout project from Collins. Looking forward to seeing her take on different projects she will choose!
